“The Red Baron” plays Wings of War!

In a trailer produced by Mad Man’s Magic, the game`s distributor in Germany, the main artist in the movie Matthias Schweighöfer take off with the red Fokker DR I miniature

Manfred von Richthofen, from the movie to the game: the most famous ace in the World War I and a legend for his ability, daring and numerous victories, the german pilot is back and take off again. On April 10, The Red Baron arrives in german theatres, directed by Nikolai Muellerschoen and presenting Matthias Schweighöfer in the rule of Manfred von Richthofen, taking part of astonishing air combats plenty of special effects. After give life to the ace in the movie, the actor took an airplane miniature to play in a trailer produced by Mad Man’s Magic, the distributor in Germany of Wings of War, a game that recreates WW1 and WW2 aerial fight.

The Mad Man’s Magic’s spot will be show in many big shops, supermarkets and malls in Germany, as part of a distributor’s marketing campaign to promote the game. Written and directed by Nikolai Muellerschoen, Red Baron the movie is produced by the german company Niama-Film and distributed by Warner Bros. It depicts how Baron Manfred von Richthofen and his companions used to see the air combats much as events of sporty nature, technical challenge and honorable acting, ignoring the terrible extent of war. But after falling in love with the nurse Käte, Manfred realizes he is only used for propaganda means. Caught between his disgust for the war, and the responsibility for his fighter wing, von Richthofen sets out to fly again.
