The charity convention “Ayudar Jugando” gather funds for associations dedicated to children. A giant Wings of War scenario will be part of the activities

(25-11-2008)

Every year since 2003, when Christmas come, Ayudar Jugando ("To help through playing") organizes its main activity, the charity convention Ayudar Jugando, at Barcelona, December 6-7. With the motto "For the smile of a child", its goal is, using the gaming hobby, to help the less-favoured children, those who aren't likely to have a merry Christmas. The convention's purpose is, through several activities, to gather funds for different associations related with children, chosen by its members - and they can proudly say that these funds grow each year.

This year, one of that activities will be a giant scenario of Wings of War: The Dawn of World War II, which will try to recreate a great historical moment of the military aviation: the Battle of England. 24 players at the same time, playing in a 3x4 meters' surface in three corps showing the british coasts and London. From the first attacks to the radars' system to the raid over London. Not only one of the sides will win, for there will also be prizes for the best airman of each side, the first casualty, the most extreme Immelman... In short, to recreate an important period of the history while having a very good time.

This activity will be held on Saturday, December 6, at the Convention (Casinet d'Hostafrancs, Barcelona, Spain) and is supported by Andrea Angiolino, Wings of War's co-author, and NG International, the company that publishes the game.
