Two Origins Awards for Wings of War!

WW2 Deluxe Set is the winner in the Historical Miniatures Rules category and the Albatros D.III in the Historical Miniatures – Figure or Line of Figures category

(29-06-2010)

The Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts and Design announced the winners of the 36th Annual Origins Awards and Wings of War was awarded in two categories: Historical Miniatures Rules, with the Wings of War Miniatures WW2 Deluxe Set, and Historical Miniatures Figure or Line of Figures, with the model plane Albatros D.III (created by Italeri and included in the third series of WW1 Wings of War Miniatures).

The "Origins Awards" recognize the outstanding works in the game industry in the previous year and are assigned at the "Origins Game Fair". The five nominees in nine categories are defined by a first ballot created by six different juries, which is voted on by GAMA's Retail Members attending the "GAMA Trade Show". These finalists are then voted by Origins Game Fair's attendance to settle the winners.

Wings of War is published by NG International with international partners for many different languages editions, and is a game created by Andrea Angiolino and Pier Giorgio Paglia. The Callies - the Origins Awards' statue - will be assigned to the publisher company and to the game designers.
